Review: Five stars for doing what it was meant to do - Don't get me wrong when I say 5 stars. It is not 5 star tasting, but 5 stars for ease and not being awful. It's passable in an emergency. I dare say after a day or two of cereal or oatmeal we would welcome it as a change. It was easy to prepare. I made sure to use boiling water, not just hot water and exactly 8 ounces. IMO, it was too much water. I would reduce the water an ounce. I will definitely buy more for my emergency prep pantry.

I used to eat the egg dry out of cup ramen in the early 90s until they stopped putting them in the noodles for some reason. These have that same effect. They melt in your mouth and have a very reduced "eggy" flavor when you eat them freeze dried. I wish there was some of these marketed for snacking instead of camping because they would probably be a little cheaper. The prime sale over the last few days made them cheap enough to buy a couple bags. Please make a snacking line of these eggs, they are awesome.

Don't get me wrong when I say 5 stars. It is not 5 star tasting, but 5 stars for ease and not being awful. It's passable in an emergency. I dare say after a day or two of cereal or oatmeal we would welcome it as a change. It was easy to prepare. I made sure to use boiling water, not just hot water and exactly 8 ounces. Size is for 1 serving, the quality was ok taste was ok. I followed the directions exactly and had to drain a lot of water off at the end. I guess this would be great for a hiking meal but not an everyday at home meal.
