They leak outside noise because they cannot be properly adjusted to the head. And if noise comes in, it comes out, too. QC15 are not as stylish. Apart from that, they are worlds apart: far better and more comfortable fitting. Much better noise reduction. Inbuild battery: lasts for ca 20-40 hours depending on use (music loudness etc.). However, charging takes hours (with Bose, you put in a new battery within seconds and are ready to go). And the charging cable is propriatary, so you have always to carry two cables - the one for music, and the one for charging. **Q: When packed in the travelling case, do they fit in standard size brief case...? Worried that they might be too big and bulky....any thoughts?** A: Yeah I think they would fit well. I carry them to college in my backpack all the time and its not a problem.
