Review: Good intro light - I am just a horticultural hobbyist so I didn't want to spend a bunch of money on lighting if I wasn't sure it was something I'd really want to pursue. These are good because I can get a 6500K and a 2700k and use the same hood instead of switching out MH/HPS hoods/bulbs. Also, if heat is an issue, these things are cool up to about 5 inches. Perfect for your indoor greenhouse. This is the highest wattage CFL you can buy and I have used it to grow up to four tomato plants at a time. It might better serve the user with 1-3, but it all depends on how big you are working with. Not the densest tomatoes, but I have gotten what I consider to be great yields for my own consumption.
Review: Piece of crap... - I spent a lot of money on this item and it worked for 2 days before it cracked and broke. I don't recommend these lights.
