You might as well ask for a unicorn these days when you go printer hunting, because the last two printers I've owned wouldn't print. Yes, I know how to work a printer. I unplug it and sic my cat and toddler on it, and THEN plug it back in and print from my phone from in the shower with my phone in a waterproof bag while standing on my head, and it will still print. I print with only five sheets of paper in the tray, and I print double sided or in black and white. I also print double sided AND in black and white, just because I can. And you, my friend, can as well. Just buy this printer, and all this magic is yours. Yes, the cartridges are sometimes hard to find. I’ve had it for about two weeks now and I bought it specifically for stickers. So far I haven't had any problems and the quality is extremely good for the price of this printer. Setup was super easy, however it was pretty difficult to switch to a different WIFI connection after it was already setup (I got a new modem/router). But I got that sorted out. Definitely recommend for stickers ! Only complaint is the black ink has a tough time drying but I think that mainly has to do with the glossy paper I am using, and the power button doesnt seem to work?! I just plug it in/out to bypass using the button though ... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ UGH *by T***A on July 22, 2020* Set up was ALMOST a breeze. Got it connected to WIFI and the app on my phone right away – it was so easy (not sure why so many people were struggling). Did the alignment test and it worked just fine. Then all of a sudden 5 different lights appeared on the printer at once and continues to flash errors. There is no manual to troubleshoot anything and searching online was a nightmare. Finally talked to someone from HP customer service chat and they were useless. There's no way to reset the printer (other than unplugging it for 60 seconds) and they had no idea what was wrong. Could be ink could be something else they have no idea. Some support they are. Basically defaulted to saying it was a hardware issue and to get it replaced. Now I have to go through the trouble of returning it and wait for a new one after finding out the item is now out of stock. Does make me concerned that if something happens after the 1 year warranty you are screwed because their support team can't actually support your issues. It's really a sleek and nice looking printer. The pages that were printed from the test alignment pages turned out really well. But so far not happy. Will improve my rating if the new one actually works.UPDATE:Amazon was super helpful and gave me a $10 credit for the troubles. New printer came a week later and was set up easily and I didn’t have any “hardware” issues this time! It’s been a week and it’s working great! So far I love the instant ink. Way cheaper than buying ink. They charge you by number of pages you print, not by how much ink you use. But they don’t ship you knew cartridges until yours runs out so it’s not wasteful. You can rollover up to 100 pages and comes with 2 free months.
