Signal clarity at further distance has increased as I had hoped. I would have givin 5 stars but I dislike how it threads into the radio. Looks cheesy, would be better if it was rubber at the end like the factory "rubber duckey" antenna. Also on one of the base's where the magnet is, was a small piece of plastic that was not trimmed off after the molding process at the factory. Easy to trim flush with a small blade, but had I not looked at it before hand, it wouldn't have held onto the roof very well.
