I used nursery style nonwoven bags as liners in the pockets. This is my first time using fabric planters indoors and I wanted to keep them "clean" in case I decide to change out a plant without disturbing the others. I am excited to watch the effects of air pruning. So far weekly watering has been enough, but where I live the humidity has been over 80 percent, so not sure how the winter dryness will effect that. This planter hangs from the banister over my stairs and is narrow enough not to be in the way.
