I took off 1 star because the stands top layer is NOT 8 inches wide, as is described. The center piece, made out of mdf, where the emblem is located is 8" wide, but it's the top layer, which is what the speakers rest on.... I need it to purchase two more and I thought these would be the same as the ones that I purchased in 2013. I was very wrong. The quality is extremely poor on these. I should have read the recent reviews because they are valid. The glue on the rubber pads is falling apart and the vinyl piece that attaches to the phone was chipped around the corners. It was just extremely poor quality. I am not sure if this company has been bought over the years and obviously the quality isn't the same anymore.
