My daughter is three and half years old, I ordered size medium, turns out they fit well with the Velcro firmly fastened, and stays on when the little one’s scooting or cycling . The elbow pads are particularly good, they cover most of her forearms, but the gloves are a bit large. This set will probably last for a couple of years. These pads are so soft and gentle against her skin. The velcro is not rough, yet holds strong and keeps the pads in place. She wears these pads while biking and rollerskating and is not bothered by the material. I am pleased because other brands have been harsh on the skin and caused her to react and itch like crazy. My only concerns are that the hand protection material may tear due to it being too soft and the smell upon initial removal of product from the packaging was strong. I put the pads out in the sun to help lessen the packaging odor. The pictures I shared are of my 5 year old daughter's hand. My 3 year old has also worn the pads too and they fit well. The color and pattern is bright and clear.
