It's like having a gym at home. I have this one band and a pair of the lighter ones, for my set of exercises. But one should wear a pair of sturdy gloves while exercising, to protect the hands and fingers, with padding on the palm side of the gloves, since the band causes lot of friction and bare hands can get injured easily if not protected.
