I was running basically a 12-volt PC fan for a chicken coop tied into a way oversized marine grade battery. The solar panel couldn't even keep up with my 0.2 amp load let alone have enough left over to think about charging the battery. Seems like if you spend a little more money you can get a lot more. Maybe I got a defective one but for the $30 this cost go ahead and spend 20 more and get a better brand. The controller will not whatsoever last I can tell you that just on first impression it is very and I mean very poorly made. I didn't bother reaching out to the company on this one because I was so unimpressed with what I received I just went ahead and returned it.
