Please note, the camera body DOES NOT decide the filter size but the lens does. My prediction is that this filter won't fit the kit lens that came with your canon. **Q: Can i use it for scuba diving?** A: If you have enough room for the camera lens and the screw on filter inside the waterproof case I don’t see why not. I have only used it under regular conditions. Keep in mind the dark red will take at least two F stops. Meaning you will have to compensate hiking the ISO or the F to have a decent velocity for each picture. Looking at the transmission curve that Hoya publishes (which you can find on the Kenko Tokina USA website - unfortunately Amazon will not allow us to link to it directly) it would appear that this Kolari filter you are referencing is nearly identical to that of this Hoya filter - with of course the substantial difference being that this is simply a color filter, whereas the Kolari is an actual infrared filter (at least that is my understanding). We do not carry Kolari filters ourselves, so you may want to contact them directly for more specifics about that particular item.
