Is this permanent?** A: If the hole in your tube is smaller than 1/8", then the tube sealant will seal it up and you will not need to patch it. Can I use either product for tubes or tubeless tires?** A: You can determine if your mower tires have inner tubes by simply examining the valve stem. If the valve stem is constant diameter, and the same size as the hole in the steel wheel, then you have an inner tube. If the valve flares at the bottom (larger than the top threaded end), then you have a tubeless tire. Use the product that is appropriate for what you find. Personally, I would not use any tire sealant products without an inner tube. When you need to replace a tubeless tire, or if you get a puncture that won't seal, then tire replacement or repair will be a BIG mess and your tire guy won't be happy. If you are your tire guy, then you will be even less happy. With an inner tube, the mess is confined to the tube which can be reused or discarded as appropriate.
