I bought The Crew: The Quest for Planet Nine as a cooperative game to play with a regular group, and it’s quickly become a favourite.What I like:Clever cooperative twist on traditional trick‑taking mechanicsMissions introduce new rules gradually, making it easy to learn but hard to masterRequires communication and teamwork without allowing players to simply talk through every moveScales well across different group sizesVery replayable thanks to the large number of missionsEach mission feels like a small puzzle, and the difficulty ramps up nicely without ever feeling unfair. What really stands out is how much tension and discussion the game creates using such simple components. Games are quick to play, but it’s easy to want to do “just one more mission”.Overall, this is an outstanding cooperative card game that’s easy to learn, highly engaging, and works well with a wide range of players. I’ve rated it 5 stars as it delivers something genuinely different and does it extremely well.

This is a good game. Requires lots of thinking and is lots of fun. Easy to learn too. Small and portable. Not lovely game pieces but this is not necessary for you To enjoy the game. We really like this as a family game with older children and young adults.

Warning this game is highly addictive! Everyone we have played it with has loved it. We love that it is collaborative and that we all work together! There are so many different variations to this game that you never get bored! By this game and have evenings full of entertainment and fun with your friends! The other thing we love is that the game gets harder and harder as you go and that as you progress through each level you learn new skills! It’s a lot of fun!
