Natierra Nature's Organic Freeze-Dried Strawberries | Gluten Free & Vegan | 1.2 Ounce (Pack of 3)

I’ve been craving Strawberries for awhile and decided I couldn’t wait until Summer for something better than what I can get locally right now. I had a hard time deciding if I should buy such a small amount because they are pricey for the amount of weight you get (but I was mostly thinking about having to share this little package)! I couldn’t wait to open the package when it arrived and I cut it open and put the package in my Son’s face, he jumped back shocked not knowing what I had in my hand but he was ready to try some with me. Both of us had several pieces and really enjoyed each little piece and the smell is so amazing!I’m planning to make some mixed dried fruits and nuts along with some granola mix for something healthy for us to snack on. You should try these they’re delicious!

I'm constantly hearing that all of the corn in the US is grown with GMO pesticides and that it should be completely avoided.. Then a week later I'll read that the amounts of pesticides are harmless, lol... Who knows?!Well I was pretty stoked when I saw this product available here on Amazon. It seemed a bit pricey to me but peace of mind is priceless and based on the reviews I had to try it!The reviews are certainly no lie!! Absolutely dee~lish! Sweeter and more flavorful than most corn I've tried. Strangely addictive! At first bite I felt this was dry and it felt so light and almost papery in my hands but than the sweet flavor kicks in and yes-- sooo good!The bag didn't last too long between my husband and I and it really seemed like for the amount received it should have been priced lower than what we paid... I'm still rating this a 5 star snack though because it's pure goodness. No questioning any chemicals and it tastes fantastic!We won't buy it often but I'd definitely recommend it and we will be buying it again. Very light and airy, like popcorn, except sweet and not like it's been candied... Must try!!

I got these as an alternative to Cheerios and other finger foods for my grain-free, Whole Foods baby because they are organic and the Aldi brand isn’t. I break them up into baby-safe pieces and she LOVES them! She eats them every morning for breakfast with homemade organic Greek yogurt. My first impression is how surprisingly they taste a LOT better than the Aldi ones...I wasn’t expecting that. Also, I figured out that I can mix the “dust” and crumbs at the bottom of the bag into her yogurt so it doesn’t get wasted! Will definitely be reordering!

Great snack or to powder for cake frostings

So I bake a lot. Boyfriend is picky. His favorite cake is an angel food cake. After the third successful cake, I wanted to mix it up. So I made a chocolate marble. OMG YUM. Of course, I needed more of a challenge! Who doesn’t love the light fresh tart taste of strawberries with their angel food cake?! So I wanted to make a strawberry marble one. BUT HOW?! Well a recipe search ensued and found one that suggested using freeze dried strawberry. So these were ordered, and 2 days later they made their way into the food processor and became a beautifully done strawberry powder! Into the cake they went... and YUMMMMMM. Will be trying the blueberry ones next!!

I was shocked that my picky eater 15 no loves these. She eats them by the handfuls. They melt easily in her mouth. Mostly different size pieces. From small to large. I tried them and they taste a little sour but she loves them. This is a perfect way to introduce healthy snacks. I will continue to buy. I will try the different fruits. They strawberry she loves. Good buy

I purchased the freeze dried bananas and strawberries as a refreshing after class snack, but ended up not being as refreshing as anticipated.At first glance, freeze dried snacks being organic and having good reviews deceived me to believe I could eat these on their own — Definitely not for me.The freeze dried bananas left a strange film in my mouth, I believe I was expecting a ‘banana chip’ and not a pillow drawn, sand banana.The freeze dried strawberries were better than the bananas out of the two that I purchased. They are more edible on their own (rather than used in a drink recipe, etc.) and have a more natural texture than the bananas. The only downside to the strawberries that I purchased is that they’re extremely sour and leave a red residue on my hands. Not a mess-free finger food option.The bananas have since been given away and the strawberries were used in mock-tail recipes that call for freeze dried strawberries, leaving me to say that they’re just OK.I’m overall disappointed and wish I did more research before purchasing these freeze dried fruits, or maybe they’re just not for everybody.I haven’t used them as after school snacks since opening.

I cannot find freeze dried fruits at any local stores so online shopping is a must. And I absolutely love these specific brand strawberries. They are huge slices of sweet strawberries and still intact. Other brands are more like dust and are not from fresh fruits. But these strawberries are a must for boring cereals and to add to tea. My kids love to just eat them like chips but the price is a little much for that lol. Overall, I highly recommend.
