You buy the bottles separately at sporting goods or Hardware stores. **Q: will this heat up a mini van effectively?** A: Never thought about that but it does heat up a golf cart fast and have some friends us it at their deer blind. But would need to build some kind of holder to keep it stable. I had to configure it in the golf cart to be more stable for the tension springs do not keep it stable enough. Not sure how you would do in a SUV. I guess you could.
