And now she literally can be :)She is used to riding in purses and bags and LOVES them. This sling cuddles tightly around her and holds her up close to me while allowing her head to be out looking around. Think “baby wearing” for fur babies.I bought this for home use so I can be hands free and she can still get the personal contact she craves even when I’m occupied. It’s perfect. And she may be a little spoiled :)I will say the material is quite thick which could get hot in summer, but it is great quality! The shoulder strap is wide so I hang it over the ball of my shoulder rather than straining my neck. My dog doesn’t move much inside there because it hugs her tight, so I reposition her ever so often for more comfort.The shape is just perfect to keep her snuggled in but allowing her to look around and have her neck and head free. That makes it really hard to work, so I thought maybe a pouch for him to sit in and snuggle would be a solution. I found this papoose, and by golly it works! Sometimes he falls asleep in it. I have to kind of get close to my desk so the edge of the desk supports his bottom, but we're pretty comfortable. He weighs 11 pounds, so I can only have him in the pouch for a half hour or so at a time, but that's quality snuggle/work time! I gave only four stars because the papoose cannot be adjusted enough to get him as high as he would like. (He likes to put his arms around my neck.) A bit more flexibility in that regard, and we'd have five stars for sure!If you've got a snuggler (cat, dog, or anything else!)
