They are pure liquorice pellets. You can get deglycyrrhizinated from Holland and Barrett. **Q: What size is the tin?** A: Very small, about the size of a traditional pill box. Smaller than a credit card size. It's only 16g. The pellets are tiny but strong. **Q: What shape are the pellets?** A: They are really really small and in shape of square pillows, basically a parallelepiped with blunt vertices. **Q: Suck or chew these please?** A: They are hard pellets. so initially suck, or let dissolve in the mouth. But I find they do get soft enough to chew a bit towards the end. Bear in mind they are tiny. I tend to use about three or four at a time. Excellent flavour. I've tried a few of this type of thing and stick with these. Best for me. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A blast from the past. *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 20 August 2020* Saw these and realised they looked just like the "Imps" we used to get in tiny tins as kids. Used to love those, so had to give this product a try. Bigger tin than Imps and although 6grams doesn't sound like much there are lots of "pellets" in the tin. No I haven't counted them, but lots. Taste just as I remember Imps. Have to say they are probably an aquired taste. They are not sweets, you don't scoff them by the handful. Proper liquorice extract based and quite bitter for that, but that's what I love. Pop one on your tongue and just let it dissolve. Wonderful, and I find two or three a day ample. So glad I found these.
