Customer service is a joke - I bought this top box, the mounting kits, the panniers everything for a full luggage pack. The documentation state the panniers arrive with a spare lock, that you can transfer into the top box so you only have one key for all 3 pieces of luggage. Mine didn't fit. I contacted shad and was advised "that it was a replacement pannier lock and not for the top box"... so I pointed them to 2 websites that showed it SHOULD have contained a top box lock and a video from their OWN you tube channel (added around the time I purchased these) showing that I'm correct... Mine was mailed with it on and I can’t seem to find any way of removing it** A: Use the securement key turn left for mount, right for box lock.
