Each box has 700 screws in it. The seller, hearthshire, stacked all 3 boxes of screws in a single cardboard box with no packing material in between and not enough packing material to keep the boxes in place, so when the shipment arrived, the lids on two of the screw boxes had come open and there were hundreds of loose screws just lying in the bottom of the cardboard box (see photo). So it was sort of irritating to spend almost $400 on stainless screws but the seller couldn't put an extra 15 cents worth of packing material in the box.As far as the screws themselves, they worked fine with the camo marksman tool, to put the screws into the edges of my expensive capped PVC deck boards. I put down around 1300 screws and had maybe 10 of them shear or bend on the way in. The project was re-decking a 140ft long dock walkway, so I wanted stainless for corrosion protection and so that if I ever had to rework a board the screws would come out easily. The previous boards were PT 2x8 and I had used 2.5" long #10 stainless screws. The old screws came out like a dream, but the few new camo stainless screws that I had to rework were too small (#7) to come out without bending or shearing, and definitely couldn't be re-used. So I'll get the corrosion protection and hopefully will never have to re-deck this again in my lifetime because there's no way these camo screws are coming out without a fight--they are just too small a diameter for stainless. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent product. *by K***R on Reviewed in the United States on October 6, 2017* I went through almost 3,000 of these screws on the deck I built on my house. It's big and I laid the deck boards out on an angle for 2/3 of it which means more joists/more screws. I used cedar decking and stainless steel is a must when screwing in to cedar. These were not available in any local store I went to that carried the CAMO screwing tools and screws.The only thing to be aware of is if you have to remove one for any reason, replace it, don't try to use it again. Because of how the bit ever so slightly spins inside the screw at the end when it's being driven in, they easily strip out if you try to reuse them. It happened on almost all of them I tried to reuse and I only tried on a few. I didn't consider this to be a problem, I just thought I would mention it to save someone a few headaches because if the screw only goes part way in when using the tool the tool gets stuck in place.Out of the 3150 screws I bought there was only 1 that was unusable from the factory because it was bent. I did not strip out a single one except when I tried to reuse one I had already driven in previously. I built the entire deck with a single bit. I used very knotty cedar boards and went through dozens of knots and never had a problem. So my initial impression is they are very well made but I have not used them long term since this is the first time I've used the CAMO system.Due to how these go in on an angle and how when it rains the holes hold water, I don't think I would use anything but stainless steel. When screwing them in some of the coating does come off exposing the screw so the little bit of extra cost is worth the peace of mind to me.Another thing I thought I would mention is, the holes seemed very visible at first. When I first started using this system I regretted getting involved. But what happens is the screws countersink very deeply and the wood expands somewhat over the heads of the screws and the holes do get significantly smaller and almost invisible after a few days. (See pics).In the pics I attached I did not use the CAMO screws for the pickets. I used 2" brad nails and sealed the nail holes with glue and cedar saw dust so there was absolutely nothing visible, but I used the CAMO screws for the rest of the deck.
