The super heavy duty polyethylene material is 5.5 oz./sq.yrd., 14 by 14 cross weave, laminated on both sides, and UV treated for maximum weatherproofing and tear resistance. High strength rust resistant grommets on each industrial capped corner and approx. every 18-Inch around the perimeter along with a rope-reinforced hem add to this tarps long lasting durability. (Wind can create almost as much wear as sun; together, they're a lethal alliance.) BTW, I've learned to double them for my application, in order to create a margin of safety. They had excellent thickness. The size was perfect for what I needed and the grommets were nice, heavy duty and well spaced. They have a nice tight weave to them that hasn’t gotten any holes in it or separated due to whether or Highwinds in my area.
