After receiving the tripod yesterday I took it out of the package to see the quality. The first piece I pulled out was the monopod, and I was very impressed with the quality. After pulling the tripod out I was a little hesitant about how light it was, but after extending it all the way and placing my canon T3i on it it blew my mind how sturdy it was on a hard surfaces. One downside is that it is a little unstable on carpeted surfaces and would be better if the base would open a little more.
