It was a bit wobbly so I was afraid it would fall once I started hanging the backdrop. I was praying to sweet baby Jesus. What you see is a boxwood hedge backdrop that I created. It contains 25 very full and heavy squares. I had a time hanging it because it was heavy, but I am pleased with the outcome. Bravo! So far so good.

A: The bases weigh 12lbs each, so the total weight of the kit is about 40lbs.

A: The crossbar has a 2in diameter

**Q: I am looking at this to show retail merchandise concert-style. Can it support weight of a net, and 20 plastic hanging torso forms with tshirts?**
A: I would think a net and a few plastic pieces having from it shouldn’t be a problem. It is a pretty heavy stand, so I think maybe 30 pounds hanging from the top would be safe. If you want to hang a lot of weight from it, maybe consider hanging most of the weight from the corners and putting some weight on the feet.

**Q: Could 2 units be joined together to make a 8x20?**
A: Yes, you can join as many as you have.  The poles have slots on the top and I have joined 15 units together then that leaves you extra bases because they share the middle one.

Purchased this for a wedding backdrop of sheer fabric and it worked wonderfully. It was very sturdy and easy to put together. Wasn't worried about it falling over as it is metal and has large square plates at bottom of both sides. Came with bag to store all parts in. Searched far and wide for options on renting framing and buying and this was the best price for the best quality item. We will sell or reuse in the future.
