I’m not sure any ‘universally’ removing everything and Brita is head and shoulders above anything else I’ve tried. I did the best research I could before both purchases, and back to Brita; worth but more in price. **Q: do you fit these with or without the silicone ring that is used for the aqua optima original filters.** A: I have used it with the fitted silcone ring. The 30 day filters are a tight fit and work well. **Q: is compatible with wilko aquaadvanced?** A: No **Q: Do these cartridges fit Brita Style jugs?** A: Yes they do fit Brita jugs. They fit jugs that take a Brita Maxtra and Maxtra+ jugs. They drain pretty quickly and can be recycled now too. The only downside is I have an Aqua Clarion jug and they are really stiff to secure into the jug.
