The quality is nice and slightly thick but was able to cut it easily with regular scissors and the provided exacto knife. I also love that the grooves are textured like stain glass and not just printed on. For application, I used my own spray bottle of water rather than the provided one, and a little soap to spray the window and film before applying. The provided squeegee got out all of the bubbles with ease. Only took me around 10 minutes to do an entire glass door with 2 rolls of film. Mine are 4500 temperature range, maybe 5000? They aren't the soft 2700 or 3000 warmer temp ones - those ones drive me batty because my eyes see everything as "dingy" with them - probably due to my eye issues. Or can we just use stuff we have at home?** A: Totally didn't need a tool kit. I used a spray bottle I had with dish soap (for washing dishes by hand, not dishwasher soap) and water. Then to smooth the film out I used a credit card wrapped in a wash cloth. I used a loose razor blade to trim. It was easy probably start to finish 20 minutes for one window, 2 panes of glass. Just have a couple rags at the ready to clean up water as it drips down. So easy! **Q: Is it possible to remove the window film without any trace？** A: Hi, thanks so much for your great question. The rainbow window film is static cling adhesive which means easy on and off, no glue & no trace left after removal and totally reusable. **Q: I put them up yesterday and the corners are peaking up** A: I‘m so sorry for this problem. Below are the tips: 1. Make sure all the backing film has been peeled off. Sometimes, the backing film doesn't come off in one large piece. 2. Clean the window really well including the corners. Use enough sudsy water on window to adjust placement and enough on the front and back side of the window film, then use a credit card or similar stiff plastic item and start in the middle then work your way to the outside by removing bubbles and excess water/soap. This way it moves the water/soap to the edges. 3. If the edge is still curling up please soften the edges up by blowing hot air to the edge with a blow dryer. when you feel the edge is nice and soft you can apply again and it will stick to the glass much better. So effective. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy application, even prettier in person. *by R***A on May 20, 2026* **update one month later- I have not had to reapply or adjust these on the window at all. They are still perfectly adhering to the window, and the beautiful rainbow colors around the bathroom during sunrise every morning adds a little magic and joy to starting off the day. We will be buying more to cover other windows now that we know the quality we will be getting.** I felt a little overwhelmed before I applied them to the windows but the reality is you don't need to be-these are very forgiving if you make a mistake. I thought they might stick to themselves if they curved in, like wall stickers/decals often do, but these don't have that issue at all. It came with a long sheet that I cut in half, then trimmed a bit off on the sides. It did come with a small utility knife, squeegee and a handle (you have to put them together), and a cute tiny spray bottle. I added 2 drops of dawn dish soap to the spray bottle and filled it with water. The bottle was enough for my to cover one window and one half of the sheet. (My windows are 15"wide and 42"high. The smallest sheet covered most of each window pane). After spraying the window, I removed the back sheet of the window cling and sprayed it down and lined it up as best as I could with the window. It was very easy to adjust and the reward center in my brain actually enjoyed using the squeegee to push out all the bubbles. The top of one side is just barely off the window but it hasn't peeled or seemed like an issue and it has been up for almost 12 hours. They've held up to shower steam, the windows being opened and closed. One side developed a few air bubbles that came right out. If any issues develop I will come back and edit my review but so far we are incredibly happy with the added privacy.
