I am hoping that this one will last longer than the original. The material is very thin and does not hold up to the elements. Definitely wasn't worth the money. Review: very nice but not long enough to cover 18' solar blanket - This is a very nice cover that is well made and easy to install with the Velcro tabs BUT, as others have reported, it is about 8 to 10" too short for an 18' solar pool cover. We have to put a towel over one end of our cover. It is made of a very tough material I do not use the velcro straps so I can't comment on them. I use tie wraps to attach pvc pipe along the long sides and just drape it over the solar blanket.
