I don't understand the reviewers who complained that this book was all about Christie .... this is HER advice, based on HER experience and HER life with HER name on the cover. What did they think they were buying? Of course it's full of info about her. That is exactly why I bought it! Have you seen her? She's 61 years old and still strikingly beautiful! Whatever she is doing, I want to know EXACTLY. And Christie spells everything out in this book. Also, she does it with such genuine kindness and care towards the reader, that really comes through ....she feels like a good friend talking to you over a cup of coffee. :) I really enjoyed this book and have taken away much wise advice from it. Also ..... Christie does have her own skin care line, which she discusses in the book, but she also gives advice on other brands, she recommends products from other brands, and discusses active ingredients you want to look for in any brand you choose to use. I did not find her pushy at all with her skin care line, and I'm glad she discussed it. Overall, I am very happy with this book. I've tried a number of the hair products Christie recommends and they have made a noticeable difference. She has great advice on makeup as well. I think this is a GREAT read if you are a middle-aged blonde woman (I am) for the hair and makeup tips alone, and to modernize your look.
