I just received this product a few days ago, so while I can't write about its long-term effectiveness, there are some things that I can say about this product. For starters, the 2-ounce quantity that I purchased will last a long time. I am guessing that it will last for at least one-hundred applications, and possibly a lot more than that. The elbow butter is easy to apply, and does not really have much of a smell to it. I was concerned that my dog would attempt to lick it off after application, but that has not been a problem at all. My dog just ignores it, which is exactly what I want her to do. Again, I can't say yet whether or not this Blissful Dog Organic Elbow Butter is helping with my dog's elbow callus or not, but I have to think that it will. Overall I am pleased with this product.
