**Q: Will it work for guitar hero?**
A: No. The guitar hero receivers are roughly the same price, but completely different.

**Q: Why do some dongles have a black button and other don't, like this one? I don't want to buy the wrong one..**
A: White dongles with white buttons are from the original rock band. White dongles with the black buttons are from Rock Band 2.

**Q: Does this have the microphone USB port on it as well?**
A: I didn't see one.

**Q: Will it work for rock band 3 guitar?**
A: I bought one to use on a PC.. Sadly even a month after I haven't had time to test it.. Best bet it to cross check model numbers with a quick Google search... I would hate to give a bad response.  - Chris.

This was the exact product that I needed to connect my device. Works perfectly with the Rock Band 2 Stratocaster. (The one with the dark fret board)

Had to send it back it didn't work for my guitars. They probably need to improve the description of this product. It seems like many people are ordering it and are not pleased because of an apparent misunderstanding that they probably could and should easily clear up in the description. I am very disappointed.
