**Q: This looks like the one i have, but the numbers don't match.  is this a universal remote for sears 1/2 hp garage door openers?**
A: It is not a universal remote. It is a knock off of the original remote that came with the Craftsman garage door opener. Works exactly like the original.

**Q: Why will it open the door but not close it?**
A: Mine will open and close the door, but the response seems delayed compared to the remotes that originally came with the garage door opener.

**Q: In what country is this opener manufactured?**
A: I do not have any idea but I suppose it is from China as almost everything

**Q: What kind of battery does it take?**
A: Battery comes with the remote. All you do is program the remote with your garage door opener. So, so easy.
