It is a very comfortable-to-touch mattress protector, that seems to adapt to all temperatures (really). If I were you I'd check the heat in the bedroom and the tog-rating of your duvet, etc. if you have found this (excessive sweating) to be the case when using other products. This is actually quite a nice item and I think it will pass your sweat/flush tests.
