They loved playing with a really dilapidated old plastic one from my parents, which needed to get thrown out. I was unsure of paying so much for a little toy lawn mower, but the quality seems worth it. My boys love the popping noise the mower makes as they push it. The pull thing to "start" the motor turned out to be a big hit. And they'll stop in the middle of following their daddy just to twist and click the knobs on the handle. I thought they would look right past those, because they're more for younger kids. Wrong! Finally, the gas can is a great addition. It sits in place with some tension, so in theory it wouldn't fall off while being used....Assuming the user wishes to leave it in place. My boys never care enough to leave it on there. But its bright red color makes it very noticeable on our garage floor whenever they do decide to fill up their tanks! All in all, this is a great toy, and the price point does fit the quality. My 3 1/2 year old boys love it. Heck, our 9 and 7 year old neighbors love playing with it.
