I bought it to use as a brew pitcher for pulling shots from my espresso machine. In the past, I have always brewed espresso into two demitasse cups, but I wanted a single pitcher that would hold 2 shots. Pour espresso from the demitasse cups can be a little messy when making an americano, latte, or other blended espresso drinks.This pitcher is perfect for use with an espresso machine. It fits in the space in my machine and holds just the right amount of espresso. It pours well with no mess or dripping. The handle is well made and situated at the right angle for pouring the espresso. The copper body is sturdy. The handle is attached by a copper plate that's riveted onto the body. I also really love how beautiful it is. The engraving on the copper is detailed, and the embellishments on the handle include what looks like mother of pearl in-lays.
