You then have to, within a few seconds, detach the jump starter leads from the battery and let the vehicles charging system charge the battery. If you have a dodgy battery or a possible drain on the sytem that is difficult to detect having a jump starter in the vehicle all the time is a great way to keep out of trouble. With this lockdown I have coupled my battery to a dedicated Optimate battery charger which constantly monitors the batteries condition and keeps it at optimum charge all the time. This can be left on the battery all year round if necessary without having to uncouple the battery from the car. Last week, I tried to start the car which has been sitting outside for weeks. Sadly, the battery was completely flat so that I had to open the car manually as the electronic key fob would not work. I thought of calling the AA but I decided to postpone the drive and opted to go to Amazon to search for a car charger instead thereby reducing contact with AA personnel. During my search, I stumbled across several Jump Starters. In the end, based on the feedback that I had read and following my intuition - I decided to go for the Buture Car Jump Starter. I could not have been more right! Yay!I ordered the unit on 29 May 2020 and it arrived yesterday afternoon, 1 June 2020. The unit arrived with 85% charge showing on the display. The pack came with different wires (as advertised) but did not come with the plug to charge the unit (as advertised too) so I used my spare Samsung phone charger for charging. I think it fully charged the unit after a little over an hour.I connected the Red/Dark Orange Alligator Clip to the battery (+) terminal and the Black Alligator Clip to the (-) terminal. The indicator light (in the base of the alligator clip) initially started to flash green and red. I waited for the light to go a steady green in colour roughly less than 30 seconds - then jumped into the car and started the ignition. I was very pleasantly surprised that the car started on the very first try which made me very chuffed as the charging unit did not disappoint. Well done Buture Car Jump Starter!I normally do not write reviews but as I was very happy with the product I decided to write one as requested by Buture when I emailed them about the coupon I had received as one of the lucky 100 customers enclosed in the bag that the unit came in. I could exchange the coupon for an Air Compressor Pump Coupon or 15% Off Coupon as a gift. The coupon wording says they would get back to me within 12 working hours. I emailed Buture today at 11:46 today and got a response from them at 12:29. My car (1.6l petrol) didn't start when I wanted to drive it the other day because of a flat battery, and I didn't want to wait another 3 weeks.Then I decided to go for this Buture instead, with a quoted delivery time of 1 week. Surprisingly, the day after placing the order my package arrived. So that's just brilliant!The product came with 87% charged battery. While reading the manual I charged it up to about 90% in just a few minutes really, and then I decided to give it a try, as I wanted to drive my car.Just follow the instructions, and the car started the engine directly, so works as advertised. I used the function to connect the Buture to the car battery using the clamps. After the jumpstart the LED screen indicated down to 85% capacity. This product also has the option to charge the car battery via the cigarette lighter, but I didn't try that. That would take 15 minutes waiting, while directly connecting to the car battery is immediate. It's just a matter of preference I think.Now I'm using the Butura to charge my phone.I've only used the product 1 time, so can't say anything about long term use yet. However I do know I will keep this thing charged up in my car at all times. If in case my battery is flat, or if you need to help someone else out, this is perfect. It is small and in a nice carrier bag, easy to keep in the car. Build quality looks good. And it's no hassle with traditional jumper cables and a donor car. If noone else is around, you can at least try this first, without waiting for 2 hours for roadside assistance. This is certainly very usefull when the battery is just too low to start the engine.So in short: great product, super convenient, anyone can use this.
