I keep it in a drawer by the kitchen stove because that's where I use it most. Just take it out, point, pull the trigger. Is the oven ready yet? What temp is this frying pan? I even use it to season black iron and carbon steel on TOP of the stove instead of inside the oven, which saves tons of fuel.The meat thermometer, however, is junk. It's not accurate, which makes it worse than useless. I threw it away. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Its ok... *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on June 10, 2019* Thermometer(s) arrived well, worked great for about 5 minutes and then the laser itself broke and will not come on. Theres a button to switch it on and off which worked for a few minutes. Still seems to read temps but a bit frustrating the laser basically came broke. This is an ok unit, seems to work fine but also comes in chinese packaging, it was only about $17 but still wouldnt expect it to stop working within minutes.
