I've never worn ear plugs before so I didn't really know what to expect. These work great. The upstairs neighbor doesn't have any consideration for anyone but himself and is extremely loud. When I put these in, it blocks the noise coming from upstairs. I use a white noise machine every night and it's on my nightstand right next to my head. I still run it because I am so used to the air sound, I can't sleep without it. I can hear a light noise from that but I can't hear the fan that is on high across the room. One thing to point out is that you have to get these in correctly. If they are off, even by a little bit, you still hear noise. It takes a little bit to get used to putting them in but once you get it, it's easier. I tried each size although large is my size. These are the 4th pair of plugs I’ve tried and by far the worst. I put them in and right at that time my wife walked into the room and started talking to me. I could hear every word like she was standing next to me. How these would block her snoring at night I don’t know. I’ve been using the basic foam ear plugs for about a month and they are by far the best I’ve tried. The foam ones literally put me into a sound free sleep. You’d think for the cost of these they would work far better. These aren’t anywhere near what they are described as. They are also extremely uncomfortable to wear and a pain to put in. I wouldn’t recommend these at all. Get the simple foam earplugs.
