I suspect the packaging was not padded enough to house glassware for a journey of thumping around. That was quite upsetting and, frankly, I have not done anything about that because I just cant face the process of returning...blah blah blah. I was disappointed to learn that the outside of the set scratches extremely easily. When I placed the pots in the cupboard, (And they have very strict guidelines as to how to store or move your pots and pans, to which I strictly adhere to) one of the pots, despite me babying it, got badly scratched. Like a fingernail had scratched up the paint... I have to thoroughly baby this set as it is not durable at all to protect the paint. But since I love the color, I baby the heck out of it. Its a lot of work...but oh well, what can you do? I want pink pots and pans... **Q: What is the total weight of the package?** A: Not heavy at all. The piece look heavy but they are actually very light. Less than 10 pounds I would imagine. **Q: what will happen if i use these pots on induction stove tops？** A: Won't work as these are made of aluminum. Induction stovetops need steel plate to generate heat. **Q: Is this cookware oven safe?** A: Hi. Just the stockpots without the lid. So does she but, tonight I was making a rice side dish and discovered this- I won't use it again to cook rice like this. I needed it to seal, to finish cooking the rice and the steam vent doesn't allow that. I have a rice cooker but prefer to make it the old fashioned way. My side dish was good but not quite as good as it could have been cooked properly. I am very happy with them. I love that nothing sticks on them, heck, you could burn your food and it won't stick; it'll just slide right off. **ahem** Not that I've done that, of course, but I did get a piece of chicken breast a bit too crispy one time...no harm, no foul to the pan. I like that it is a 7 piece set; I could have bought a bigger set, but I wanted to minimize pans to just what I would actually use--and these are it. I do use my pressure cooker a lot (btw, my pressure cooker inner pot is stainless steel, so no teflon there either), but one cannot cook in a PC all the time.I've had them for over a month and have been asking them where they have been all my cooking life. I was sick and tired of buying cheap teflon coated pans at discount stores, throwing them away when they got too scratched and all the time worrying about teflon flakes in my food. I decided I was going to make the investment on a set of non-stick, free of harmful teflon and easy to care for pans. These are everything and more than I thought I could possibly afford without spending hundreds of dollars.They are super easy to clean, light in weight, heat up very fast and are the perfect sizes for my cooking needs for a family of 5. I tried a similar set of pots with the same teflon-free coating, which I liked, but the big pot was just too big and I didn't see myself using that one much. I returned that set and ordered these.In comparison to the first set, I love that they're not huge, huge; but they're not small either. The handles do get hot, but they come with their own fitted silicone pot holders and I like the fact that the handles are easier to grasp since they are not solid. When they're not hot, you can hook a finger or two around the handle for a more secure grasp. The handles on the sauce pan and fry pan are great for getting a firm grip and do not get hot. I also very much like that the lids are see-through glass.I would request/suggest to the manufacturer to make them in lots of fun colors. I like the pink, but wish I had a bigger color choice--other than the off-white ones that are the same set, but any color is much more fun than your ordinary, bland pans. Gotta have some eye candy while cooking too. They brighten up the kitchen.
