They're not light but not overly heavy either. This is the 3rd set of the same knives I've purchased. I've had them a few months since about May or so. I've had probably 4 or 5 of the knife handles actually break off but not until recently but we throw at a wooden target board pretty much every day. We spray painted the handles neon colors to be able to spot easier. It was not until we spray painted them that any broke off....not sure if I had something to do w that or they just break after awhile but I'm willing to take the blame.Like I said, great for beginners and I've come back and purchased them again twice so I'd say I recommend2nd this particular set I paid 20 famn dollars for express shipping to be here the next day. 2 days later they still did not arrive. That was very irritating as we wanted them for a trip up north and thus couldnt have them on our mini vacation. I contacted the seller and they promptly refunded my shipping cost. Tr hey ended up arriving a total of 5 days i think it was, when it was supposed to be ONE. That's my only complaint.
