**Q: Is there a version of this chair without armrests?**
A: I bought this chair after reading another customer's answer that the chair could be assembled without the armrests. That is inaccurate information. YOU HAVE TO ASSEMBLE WITH THE ARMRESTS, otherwise there is nothing for the back of the chair to secure to. The back of the chair is secured to the base of the chair only by the armrests and four screws. This can clearly be seen in the photos that the seller posted. Wish I had paid better attention before purchasing.

**Q: I weigh 300lbs, will my chunky butt bust it? I can't imagine being 25-30 over will break it.**
A: I wouldn’t recommend it.  I bought one about 7-8 months ago and the chair already broke. I weigh less than the 270lbs listed as max.  The problem is that the bottom seat part is connected to the back via the two arm rest. These arm rest are held in place by four screws so anytime the back part is leaned back it creates quite a bit of tension on those screws which break. Now the back piece wobbles because one of the screws broke and there is really no way to fix it.

This chair was fun to assemble, it’s in great condition and it’s very very comfortable. I was having back problems and now my back feels so much better sitting on this chair because I work from home and it is excellent.!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A+ for the price but there are drawbacks

This chair is good/ok. It's excessively soft on the butt part with very limited lumbar support on the back. If you sit on this for a couple of hours the butt padding is zero. There's a zipper on the back so you can stuff things like a pillow to increase that back support. I have a memory foam butt pad that I'll use since I'll be sitting on it all day. I don't think you'd get anything better for the price though. Butt pads aren't expensive and neither are pillows. It looks good too. I'm giving it four stars because of the price/value. Otherwise I'd give it two.
