We wanted to be able to help them bathe so we didn't get glass doors. The curved shower rod was easy to install, looks classy, and can handle the weight of three thick Costco towels on it (and a plastic PVC liner) without any issues. One of the end caps (which serves to cover the hardware screws, and is mostly there as a cover/aesthetics) keeps coming loose but I am mostly satisfied with this purchase because it serves its purpose. We are using the Amazon plastic PVC clear liner and the white rings that came with it and they often get stuck when sliding back and forth along the bar where the male part of the rod goes into the female part of the rod.
