Review: These actually work! - I have been wearing these almost every day for 6 months now. The foam padding actually fits my face properly and only lets enough air past to prevent them from fogging. They stick out further than I would prefer, since I don't wear prescription glasses, but that's a small price to pay for the fit, and the side windows restore most of the lost visibility. I have a big head and big ears, so the temples don't fit properly. They feel like they were made for the average Chinese man, not for the average American, but it wouldn't surprise me if they fit the average American with no Native American ancestors. They don't put a lot of pressure on the top of my ears, though, and sitting at a slight angle doesn't seem to break the seal. They hurt when I wore them today with my straight temple sunglasses, so they might require a bit of modification if you have a big head and need to wear them with prescription glasses. I bought these on my fifth attempt to solve the wind problem inside my full face helmet. These were the first that had any effect at all. Don't waste your money trying cheaper glasses.
Review: Cheap, practical, and comfortable. - I was skeptical as to weather or not they would fit over my wrap around prescription glasses, but they do. They block out the sun very well and keep the wind from making my eyes water as I ride my motor cycle. They also don't blow off when I turn my head to look behind me, or slide down my nose like other fit over sunglasses. The only problems I experienced with them is if I wear them in my truck in the winter they fog up, and they don't fit so well when wearing a tight helmet. For the price these are GREAT. Update - They are very durable. I've sat on them, dropped them, and left them hanging from my handlebars out in the sun and rain for months. I was somewhat surprised when I noticed the foam was still intact and not pealing off. The only thing they don't stand up to is forgetting where you lost them...

## Questions & Answers

**Q: do they get darker with increased light**
A: No, but for the price they are as good as the $75-90 models sold by optometrists and elsewhere online. These are light, comfortable, and fit well. I use an adjustable lanyard with mine to keep them snugged up on my face over my regular glasses. The darkness is the same but it is moderate and does not seem to be a problem even in dim light.

**Q: Do they fold? Is a hard case available?**
A: Yes, they fold. I didn't get a hard case with mine. They're pretty chunky and might not fit in a standard glasses case.

**Q: I have severe dry eye and want these to fitover my rx glasses without any gaps for air to get in while i work on my computer. Would these work?**
A: They have foam the goes all around the eye, but they wouldn't be able to cover the bridge of the glasses over the nose, it would push the foam away from your eyes. Maybe you could cut a slit in the foam for the bridge to go through and it would work better.

**Q: what type of foam used in these saftey glasses?**
A: Not sure of the type, but it is soft flexible and keeps most of the wind out. I wear glasses and these work very well without crushing my nose or my glasses against my face. I also wear a 3/4 helmet with face shield and have no vision issues with them.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Full-Eye Coverage for Photophia Sufferers but NOT Polarized
*by J***E on July 4, 2012*

I'm currently suffering from light-triggered migraines as a result of a very bad concussion I experienced about a month ago (it's called "photophobia-induced migraines" and it completely sucks). Also, I have always been light-sensitive being a fair-skinned ginger so I tend to have a pretty vast collection of sunglasses/goggle that work with prescription glasses. In-doors I've gotten away with adjusting light wattages down and wearing a pair of clip-on polarized, dark grey sunglasses over my prescription glasses (can be found on Amazon or in most dept. store sunglass section, get the spring-slider kind over the spring-wire kind as they can accomodate different widths of glasses much better). The lense polarizing, in particular, makes reading dimmed computer screens much easier on the eyes. THIS product is NOT POLARIZED and it definitely shows in very bright condition. I purchased these specifically for outdoor wear to cover my peripheral and brow line and they work great for that. No longer do I have to worry about the stray sunlight or a reflection bouncing into the side of my eyes and the "ice-pick-to-the-brain" effect that comes with it. The foam padding is comfortable and doesn't get sticky feeling even when sweating. And the peripheral windows are great for reducing the tunnel-vision effect that other full-coverage sunglasses can have. I would recommend getting a pair of sunglass head straps for these as they do tend to slip around a lot and while fine for walking tend to require a lot of "dorky push-up" adjustment when doing anything that requires moving one's head around a lot. Even after my photophobia pass (I pray), I plan on using these when doing yard work, bicycling, and outdoor activities that involve exposure to straylight, wind and dust (really can't wait to try them on a scooter with an open-faced helmet). -1 star for the lack of polarizing and the slippage factor, but otherwise highly recommended.
