This grinder is just what I needed. very pleased. 1. Tap lightly on the top when using. It just needs a light touch to chop nuts. Press and hold for powder. Could always be used to chop or make a powder out of dehydrated vegetables' as well. I only need a small amount at a time so this works great for me. If your doing a larger then a two person batch then you will need a grinder with a larger container. 2.It came with the scraper/brush tool. The scraper works great for getting out chopped food. The brush worked great for getting every bit of powder out. 3.For cleaning I put in a drop of dish soup then used the sink sprayer to clean and rinse. The sprayer cleans it perfectly with no need to get my fingers near the blades. All the reviews I read said the blades are very sharp so I do whats needed to keep my fingers out of the container. 4.If you lose the brush/scraper you can replace it with the same size/width painters brush found everywhere. The scraper can often be found in the beauty section of any store because it's made to scrape out small jars. 5. I didn't find the motor noise loud at all. The most noise comes from being used with food and that doesn't take very long to process. Review: BEST GRINDER - CLEAN, SIMPLE, SAFE, and FAST! - I rarely write reviews but this grinder is worth it. I had a problem with a seasoning mix I purchased that had too much salt in it and big seeds that stick in teeth. I sifted out the salt and put only the seeds in the grinder (big 1/2 cup capacity by the way, and that's just up the suggested 'max' fill line. There is actually more space). After only about 20 SECONDS it had completely pulverized the seeds into THE FINEST of fine powder. The internal cup is neatly covered by an inner cap that keeps everything in - no escaping dust into the rest of the unit. Fully clear top makes it easy to see the progress as it grinds - so you can stop it at exactly the coarseness you prefer. Good length cord also (42 inches) - and you can neatly wrap any extra around the spindle hidden under the base. *TIP - I found that tilting the unit slightly (5-10 degrees) helped kick the seeds up off the bottom of the internal cup a bit more for very finest powder. There is just a tiny gap under the blades for clearance - as it should. So holding it at a little of an angle does the trick. Perfection. I wouldn't waste your time comparing to other models. This is the one. ## Features - The removable cup and blades of the coffee grinder are made of SUS304 stainless steel, which are sturdy and durable. The body is made of high-quality thickened plastic, being lightweight and portable. With a power of 200W, 120V, 60Hz and a capacity of 1.8 oz./50g, it can effortlessly grind coffee beans, spices, rice, nuts and more. - The coffee grinder is simple to use. Simply press the outer lid to grind coffee and release it to stop grinding. With the built-in safety locking lid, the grinder operates only when the lid is closed. It makes it safer. - The stainless steel grinding cup can be removed from the main unit. Both the grinding cup and the top lid are removable and can be washed with water. Equipped with non-slip feet and a hidden cord storage, there is no need to worry about tangled or dangling cords. - The coffee grinder is equipped with a thermal switch. It is recommended to grind for less than 30s at a time. When the continuous grinding time is too long, the machine will automatically pause and can be used again after a break of about 45min. - The coffee mill has a sleek and modern design that will fit nicely into your home and lifestyle. This electric spice grinder is compact and takes up little space on the countertop. It can be easily stored in cupboards and drawers. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B084Z629YF | | Best Sellers Rank | #692,355 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) #67 in Electric Coffee Blade Grinders | | Brand | DR MILLS | | Brand Name | DR MILLS | | Capacity | 1.8 ounces | | Color | balck | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 1,176 Reviews | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 4.3"L x 4.3"W x 7.4"H | | Item Weight | 0.79 kg | | Manufacturer | SUPREME ELECTRIC MANUFACTURE CO.,LTD | | Manufacturer Part Number | 0219X0OIFGA | | Material | Stainless Steel | | Material Type | Stainless Steel | | Model Number | DM-7451 | | Product Dimensions | 4.3"L x 4.3"W x 7.4"H | | Recommended Uses For Product | Grinding | | Specific Uses For Product | Grinding | | Style | coffee grinder | | Style Name | coffee grinder | | UPC | 782896285494 767410924714 | | Voltage | 100 volts | | Wattage | 200 watts | ## Product Details - **Brand:** DR MILLS - **Color:** balck - **Item Weight:** 0.8 kg - **Material:** Stainless Steel - **Style:** coffee grinder ## Images ![DM-7451 Electric Coffee Grinder, Coffee Bean Grinder Electric Dried Spice, Nut, Herb Grinder, Detachable Cup, Dishwashable, SUS304 Stainless Steel - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71qqlV3HKRL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Where is this made?** A: China.
