## Description

Product description How to Use Step 1 Install the correct punch mandrel on the hydraulic cylinder along with the female portion of the punch die. Step 2 Drill a pilot hole large enough to clear your selected punch mandrel. Step 3 Insert the punch mandrel through your drilled hole in the panel. Install the male portion of the punch die by threading it down to the point where it is snug against the metal to be punched. Step 4 Close pump valve and pump the handle until the punch is drawn through the metal. Release the pump valve and remove the punch dies. **Q: What are the actual dimensions of the dies?**
A: The dies are exactly the same as the standard dies you'd find in a Greenlee; 1/2" to 4"... Not sure of the durability, only used it about 7 times, but it precisely cut like butter every time... What I love most about this particular product is the 5 year warranty that comes with it, so I don't really concern myself with durability within the first 5...

**Q: Are the die threads metric? I would like to be able to use a Greenlee dies on this tool also.**
A: The die threads are standard 3/4-16.  Yes, you can use the Greenlee dies with this set provided they are also 3/4-16 thread.

**Q: My 3/4 die won't thread on the stud hiw do i replace it**

I'm a full time electrician and this is my only punch kit since February 2019. I've gone through numerous dies, draw studs, and a hose (apprentices have been responsible for a lot of those parts but some just wore out.) The machine still does it's job though, more or less the same as the name brand that's 5x the price. If you punch holes with one side on a double thick metal and one side on single thickness you can jam it up pretty good, but the same issue seems to happen with the expensive ones like Greenlee/Milwaukee. Is it a cheap tool? Yes. But, in my experience it's good enough to get the job done.
