Permanent is a long time, so let's say that it will change the stone to a glossy finish and the stone will stay that way unless the shine is abraded mechanically or altered chemically (like with CLR or HFL). **Q: Hi, what polishing pads should I use? But it is certainly less aggressive than automotive rubbing compound (red).
