Place on top of a medium firm latex mattress, this topper really sends the comfort level through the roof. I'm curious about the feel of the softest topper in the line (55k) but at 250lbs, this topper provides great pressure point relief with good support.You must use a mattress topper cover with this topper to protect it. If you just throw a sheet over it, the topper will be damaged by vigorous movement because the sheet will stick to the topper causing you to create small tears in the topper that expand over time. I purchased a bamboo topper cover and it works perfectly. Also, if you want the full benefits of latex then you need some kind of flexible sheet (Sheex, jerseyknit cotton, etc.) which will allow the latex to conform to your body. A traditional cotton sheet has the effect of stiffening up the feel of the sleeping surface. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I disagree that it is cool.
