This men′s jacket is built to endure cold, wind and tough days on the job. Rugged without being rigid, made with durable cotton duck. This warm layer is lined with soft sherpa fleece through the body and hood, with warm quilted nylon through the sleeves. Slightly loose for a comfortable fit, subtle shape for a range of motion

Review: Great coat, fits well. Read the full review. - Sat on the fence in buying this for a while due to the conflicting reviews about sizing. IF you go by the sizing chart for this item, I'd suggest going down a size, as it doesn't match up. I'm in the UK, 5'10", 15 stone, and an XL in everything (too many sweets, too little exercise), but according to the sizing chart I should've got an XXL. I took a punt, and ordered the XL. It fits great. Arm length size is fine, cost length is fine, and I could easily wear a hoodie underneath it and still do it up. It might be a little snug, and probably very warm, but I could. The Sherpa lining is only on the body and hood, the sleeves are lined with the normal shiny lining you get on some coats, but there is some kind of insulating between the lining and outer layer. It weighs quality, it's not a light jacket, which I like in a winter coat. There are elastic draw strings to tighten up the bottom of the jacket, and the hood just has a shoelace type draw cord. I've added some spring toggles to the hood cord, as if you did pull it tighter, it would otherwise not stay tight, unless you tied a pretty bow under your neck with both ends. No idea if I'll ever tighten it, but they're there if I want to. Overall very pleased with this jacket. Can't wait for winter to come so I can actually wear it. I had a similar coat years ago, which is by far the best coat I've ever had, but years of hard wearing have finally killed it (continuously looking for a replacement, hence why I bought this now). This coat is equally as good as that one from what I can tell. Bought it in Carhartt brown.

A: I'm 6'4" and wear 44/46 Long suit jackets. I purchased an XL and it's got plenty of room. It doesn't have particularly long arms though. and it's VERY warm!

Mine is a tobacco colour or light rust not the black one.

The collar label is a gray background and carhartt motif is in the same colour as the jacket. It als proudly displays made in India.

Its a good robust jacket, i like mine. I am more than happy with the quality.

High quality jacket that feels cosy and warm and should last a good few years. I was tempted to buy a size smaller than the recommendation based on a couple of reviews, but this was a mistake. It's much easier to do the zip up if it's not too tight against your body. So I swapped it out for the recommended size, based on my previous Carhartt purchases, and that was a good relaxed fit.
