Still, I do believe that it will stand up to the normal wear and tear it will be subject to over the course of a heating season. What I particularly object to is that it does not lay open easily when empty. It is a struggle getting the logs aligned to facilitate carrying. The straps appear to be to be too long to hand carry and yet not long enough to handle comfortably upon the shoulder. After my discount from the manufacturer, I paid five dollars for this item.I bought this bag not because I have firewood to haul, but because I do a lot of shopping at warehouse stores, and so I need to bring my own durable bags to haul heavy goods home. Unfortunately, I haven't yet gotten to really stress test this bag-- I actually found it delivered on my doorstep the day I got home from my most recent major shopping trip! However, I've given it a few test carries around the house, and the material and stitching seem rock solid so far.
