The caffeine in the green beans is removed by the CO2 in a freeze drying chamber under pressure and then the caffeine can be harvested from the CO2 (and used for other manufacturing that needs caffeine as an ingredient). The new design however fails to seat properly so we need to fiddle to get it in, then when you close the lid the perforations aren't piercing properly so the flow won't come through. We've tried in two machines and have the same issue.
