**Q: Does this kit include the metal bracket to mount the 4 flat plug to the hitch itself?**
A: It does not attach the plug to the hitch, it will just hang there.

**Q: what vehicle does this fit**
A: I put it on a 2014 Dodge Durango Limited

**Q: Will this work on a 2019 Durango?**
A: worked on our 2016 durango

**Q: Does this harness need to e flashed by the dealer or will it just work????**
A: No need to be flashed. I just plugged it in.

Works great for new 2017 Dodge Durango. Install process is not difficult, but is somewhat time consuming - USE VIDEO from etrailors to walk you through it if you need to. I found that to be more helpful than the instruction page.Generally speaking, I don't trust wire crimp connectors so I went with wire nuts instead - gives me a little more piece of mind with a more secure wire connection.If you have a new Durango, get this and a hitch - no need to pay the $1000+ at the dealer!

It would be a lot cheaper If you could install a generic wiring harness. I couldn't figure out how to do that on the Durango, so I had to go with this, to the dismay of my wallet. But, it wasn't super difficult to install. The hardest part is running the power wire to the engine compartment (not much help online to show you how to do this, best route, etc.).
