I have a 35# AR500 silhouette mounted atop a 4' 8" 2x4 on this stand. The board might rock side-to-side a little, but it hasn't fallen yet. There are marks from the lead splatter, but no apparent damage after a couple of range trips, and a few hundred rounds. The stand is lightweight and easy to carry to the back of the range.
