I have them installed in my license plate, dashboard, and reverse lights in my 98 Toyota Corolla. I love them. **Q: Are these canbus free error?** A: There are very limited can bus leds if you use these for a blinker you would still have to add a resistor if you plan on using these lights in your car such as a dome light they will be fine can bus is used mostly on exterior lights blinker, tail light, running/parking lights. The 194 and/or168 led light was placed in the interior fixture of a vehicle. It was guess work as to how much this light would produce. This light is a white-blue (5000K) that is almost twice as bright as the original incandescent light bulb. This light worked for my interior lighting. Lumens on the packaging would be of benefit. Manufacture engineers are aware of heat build up in the light which can shorten the life of the light against the light output of bulb. Heat is a killer for led bulb electronics.
